Adnan Abd Rahman - Happy Fathers Day

Since i did a write up for my mum on Mothers Day, so i guess, its not fair if i didn't put on any thoughts for my dad on this special day today.
The strength of a father is not based on his abilities of making kid in quantity but by his abilities in raising them (a quot by President Barrack Obama). Supprisingly, Mr President here was raised with no proper dad. His dad left him when he was two years old to continue his studies in Harvard and only return once when Mr President in his teenager years and finally leave him again for good. Even without a proper guidance from a dad, Mr President turn out to be a well educated person and finally reached the top by becoming the first black president in the states.
To know the fact that millions of kids out there were born with no dad. I thank Allah the most for his destiny to place me with such a great and wonderful dad in a beautiful family. The dad that i can rely on, teach me on every aspect (life and love), guide me when i do wrong and love me with all his heart. Eventhough, there are times when u stumbled and made mistakes, you are still the best dad i could have ask for. Your fierce characters, your humble presence, your leadership qualities were the one that shape me to who i am today. And from my deep sincerity I thank you Ayah for all of that.
There are too many things that you thought me along the way. But the one I remembered the most was when you brought me to play tennis eventhough it was raining heavily. At first, i didn't really understand why you chose to turn up in the rain coz logically tennis should be called off. But, u said something that i hold on to it till today. "When you made promises, make sure you hold to it no matter what happens and always comes earlier for any appointments, its ok if we have to wait for other people but don't let people wait for us". Such an easy words to understand but yet carries a huge responsibilities. As i grew older, i began to realize that these words plays an important role in determining one's characters. Alhamdulillah, I still hold to it today.
Ayah, how can I repay you? the best way is to always pray for your health. I pray to Allah to always take care of my dad. Take good care of him as he took utmost care to me while raising me. Ayah, I promise you that I'll be the best person i could be and i will always make you proud. So that, you know that you have pour the best lesson you could have.
Ayah, in relation to this special day today. I would love to wish you Happy Fathers Day and thank you for being the best dad. May Allah bless you always. Take care ayah.
Assalammualaikum.

what the h*ll KPI is

Kak adila told me...wow, i'm back after a year..lol..and she asked me that is my next write up gonna be post next year? well, here I am once again, creating history...writting up for my 2nd post this year...so i guess, i just wanna put it as one of my element in my KPI this year, which is to post 20 write up for 2009...hahaha...btw, what the h*ll is KPI....lol...

I reached home from work today at around 10.30pm...i'm not the type of employee who used to go back home very late...I belive very much in work and life balance...plus i hate to go back for the sake of sleeping without doing anything else..but, it's different today...coz of this working measurements tool they call it KPI (Key Personal Indicator) - bless to whoever creates this...(haha)...why can't people just do what they need to do and and measure achievement based on trusts... is there no honest people in this world nowdays....even the government now is using KPI....(probably it's just their political strategy to woo ppl back to BN)..it's already May and we have not finalized our corporate KPI yet...and it can be changed too....what the h*ll...

well, i have my own thoughts on KPI...for me, obviously there are some good reason why should we use a KPI but the real fact is from the individual itself...we can have thousands of KPI but if the target is just too low or the objective is just a normal tasks...why bother using a KPI....at the end of the day, its the individual who does the job...a realistic target would be sufficient enough to measure....probably, KPI is just a trend...(which i really hope so...haha)..

Selamat Hari Ibu

Alhamdulillah..after a year, i'm back with my new post..lol..at least, it's better than not coming back at all...lucky for me, i can still remember my password to sign in....:)..

Actually, there a lot of reasons why i'm back here writing..but the main one that i would like to share is because of people of the world today is celebrating Mother's day...wow, Mum..what would i be, if it's not you who use to 'rotan' me if i do wrong, 'pujuk' me when i was crying, and be there with me when i was lonely...mum, if i can buy anything in this world for you, still it wouldn't enough to compare your love, guidance & attention u care for me. You never sigh when your tired but yet you still cooked for me when i'm hungry...Ya Allah, with my honest soul, i ask for your kindness to always makes my mum healthier each day..so, she can live long enough to see my brothers and i succeed in our life...so that, she can be proud of who we are today...as a gift to you mum, although i'll know, you will never gonna read this...i dedicate this special poet i create spontaneously sincerely from deep of my heart to you....

Mak ibu,
Setiap jam 6.30 pagi,
Suara mu pasti akan ku dengari,
Walaupun selalunya aku masih dibuai mimpi,
Suara lembutmu, tingkah sopanmu,
Membuatkan aku pasti,
Memulakan langkah di pagi hari

Mak Ibu,
29 tahun aku belajar di pelusuk negeri,
Menimba ilmu perkuatkan diri,
Satu-persatu aku pelajari,
Kasihmu, sayangmu,
Tidak pernah berbelah bagi
Dengan harapan, aku dapat terbang tinggi

Mak Ibu,
Ya Allah, doa pada ibuku aku junjungi
Sihatkanlah sentiasa diri
Agar ibu, sentiasa mampu berdiri
Melihat anak-anakmu ibu,
Berjaya mencapai puncak tinggi,
Hasil didikanmu sehingga ke hari ini

all about blogging

yippee...finally..after every thoughts that have been delayed, i've finally come out with my own blog. i am not really sure why there are a lot of fuss about blogging at all but to keep up with the trend, i create my own. On top of that, i think its a need for me to start blogging as a medium to promote my kuih raya selling during fasting month. To think again actually, there are a lot of advantages of blogging. Although, some people still thinks that blogging is kinda way of abusing old fashioned diary. Its like sharing your diary with the whole world.

Well, there are a loads of things that i would really wanna share in here. But i guess maybe not now...i'll put it into stages and will try to organize it as neat as possible..knowing my capability as being not organized in most of the things that i do, i'll treat this blog as a learning discipline for myself to be more organize. (There you go, another one advantages of blogging). I'll try to keep at least 2 - 3 posts a week and i'll do it at night before sleeping. That's when my mind will be relax and loads of ideas can be thrown in here. And i really hope that this practice will continues for a long time.

So, i guess...this is it for now..I'll be leaving this blog today with a note that maybe who knows my blog one day will produce me with extra cash through advertisement and promotions..hehehe..keep the flame alive...
